What's the difference between Real Mycelium™ and mycelium fermented grain?

This is one of the most important distinctions in the mushroom supplement category.

Mycelium fermented grain is made by growing mycelium on a grain substrate, usually rice or oats. The mycelium can't be separated from the grain, so the whole material is dried and powdered together. The finished product can contain a significant amount of grain or starch, and Erinacine A levels may be very low or unverified.

Real Mycelium™ is pure Lion's Mane mycelium grown in liquid culture, with no grain substrate. The mycelium is separated from the liquid and freeze-dried. It contains no grain, no rice, no oats, no starch fillers, and is standardized to 5 mg of Erinacine A per serving.
